⏱ 1–2 weeksOn-site verification of production lines, PE100 resin traceability, pressure-testing equipment, and ISO 9001 certification validity. We walk away from factories that look right on paper but fail on the floor.
⏱ 2–4 business daysWe coordinate factory test pieces, arrange dimensional and wall thickness verification, and manage pressure testing before you commit to a full order. Pass/fail report delivered within 48 hours of receipt.
⏱ 2–4 weeksWe negotiate factory prices in Mandarin, cross-check quotes against market rates, and draft the purchase order with your spec locked in writing. No ambiguity at production start.
⏱ 3–7 business daysWeekly status updates with inspection photos at 10%, 50%, and 90% production milestones. You always know where your order stands — no chasing the factory yourself.
⏱ Throughout productionDimensional checks, wall thickness sampling, and hydrostatic pressure tests at AQL 2.5 Level II before shipment. Full pass/fail report before the container is sealed.
⏱ 1–2 days per batchNon-standard DN sizes, special SDR ratios, custom colors, or co-extruded pipes. We manage spec negotiation and prototype confirmation for orders generic trading companies cannot handle.
⏱ 4–10 weeksWe arrange export clearance and shipment under FOB, CIF, or DAP terms. Our freight partners cover major ports in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Full documentation reviewed before the container is sealed.
⏱ 18–45 days transitFor pipe manufacturers & plastics processors
Pipe manufacturers and plastics processors sourcing PE100/PE80 HDPE pellets, PVC-U compound, PP-R pellets, or PE112 composite resin directly from verified Chinese producers.
We source PE100, PE80, and PE100-RC HDPE pellets, PVC-U compound, PP-R pellets, and PE112 composite resin from verified Chinese producers and authorized distributors. Shortlist includes mill credentials and supply capacity per grade.
⏱ 1–2 weeksWe verify PE100 MRS ratings and PE100+ Association certification for HDPE, K-value and ISO 1060 conformity for PVC compound, and batch COA authenticity across all grades. Substituting a lower grade after sampling is the most common fraud in Chinese resin supply.
⏱ 3–5 business daysBatch sampling and third-party lab verification: melt flow index, density, OIT, and thermal stability for HDPE; K-value, impact strength, and Vicat softening point for PVC compound. Coordinated with accredited Chinese labs, results delivered before shipment.
⏱ 5–10 business daysWe negotiate spot and contract pricing in Mandarin, benchmark against Shanghai and domestic market rates per resin type, and draft supply agreements with grade, specification, and quantity locked in writing.
⏱ 3–7 business daysWe arrange export clearance and shipment from China under FOB, CIF, or DAP terms. Pellets and resin compound typically ship in 25 kg woven bags or 1-tonne jumbo bags (FIBC). Our freight partners cover Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.
⏱ 15–35 days transitBefore committing to a full container, we coordinate a 1–5 tonne trial batch to verify grade consistency, batch-to-batch stability, and delivery documentation. Standard practice before any long-term supply agreement, regardless of resin type.
⏱ 2–4 weeksContractors, importers, and buyers we work with
We work with small and mid-size buyers across five buyer types — from single-project contractors to recurring industrial buyers.
Small contractors & project owners
You need 500–5,000 metres of HDPE or PVC pipe for an irrigation scheme, housing development, or local infrastructure project. You want factory-direct pricing without the complexity of auditing a Chinese supplier yourself. We source, inspect, and ship — you focus on the project.
Pipe importers & distributors
You import HDPE or PVC pipe to resell in your market and want to cut out the trading company margin. We give you direct factory access, Mandarin-language negotiation, and pre-shipment inspection — so your customers receive exactly what was quoted, every time.
Agricultural & municipal project buyers
You're running an irrigation scheme, rural water supply, or small municipal contract that specifies ISO 4427 or equivalent. You need correct documentation — mill certificates, hydrostatic test reports — without hiring a sourcing team. We handle compliance paperwork as part of the standard service.
Pipe manufacturers sourcing resin
You run a pipe extrusion line and buy PE100, PVC-U compound, or PP-R pellets in container-load quantities. You want a verified Chinese producer — not a spot trader — with consistent grade, batch traceability, and a trial order before you commit to a supply contract.
Factories & recurring industrial buyers
You buy pipe or fittings in recurring quantities for your own facility or production line. You want a single accountable contact who can consolidate multiple SKUs into one shipment, manage quality on your behalf, and keep documentation clean for your procurement records.
Your reliable pipe sourcing partner in China
We read ISO 4427, PE100 MRS ratings, SDR ratios, and PVC K-values — not just catalog names. When you send a spec sheet, we understand it and hold the factory to it.
We handle a limited number of active orders at any time. You get a single contact who knows your project, not a ticketing system and rotating account managers.
You see the factory quote. Our 5% commission is stated separately. No rebates, no hidden margins — ever. Weekly production photos so you always know where your order stands.
You see the factory price. We keep nothing hidden.
An engineer who left software to source pipe directly from Chinese factories
I spent nine years as a software engineer — debugging systems, reading documentation, and building things that either work or don't. That mindset doesn't leave you when you change industries.
Two years ago, through connections at pipe factories in Jiangsu, I saw the gap firsthand: overseas buyers paying too much, receiving the wrong specs, or getting ghosted after deposit. I started HausPipes to close that gap — one order at a time.
I'm based near the manufacturing clusters. Factory visits are a day trip. I know the production managers, I've walked the lines, and I know which plants cut corners when volumes get large.
Parses ISO 4427, PE100 MRS ratings, SDR ratios, and PVC K-values directly — not relaying what the factory sales rep said.
Visits production lines in Jiangsu to verify extrusion equipment, wall thickness consistency, and raw material traceability.
Validates ISO 9001, ISO 4427, and GB/T 13663 certificates against issuing bodies — not just accepting scanned copies.
Translates factory feedback accurately — so engineering decisions are based on real data, not approximations.
What buyers say about working with us
Real feedback from buyers on sourcing projects. Every quote is from a real client case study.
"We were skeptical at first — we'd heard the 'direct factory' pitch before. But the audit report was detailed enough that our procurement manager was satisfied, and the landed price was genuinely lower than what we'd been paying."
"It was a trial container, so we were watching closely. Neo sent wall thickness photos from the factory floor before loading. There were a couple of pieces that got flagged and replaced before the container was sealed — that's exactly what we needed to see."
"We've tried sourcing directly before and it didn't go well. This time we got three options back with actual notes on each factory, not just a price list. The sample order matched the spec. We'll be running the next batch through HausPipes."
From inquiry to delivery
Every engagement follows the same process — so you know what to expect, and when.
See full process →Send us your pipe spec, quantity, and destination port. We review and respond within 24 hours — not a form acknowledgement, an actual assessment of whether we can source it and at what kind of price range.
We identify 3–5 qualified HDPE or PVC manufacturers from our network, run on-site verification of production lines and certification validity, and deliver a shortlist with our recommendation. Being Jiangsu-based means factory visits happen in days, not weeks.
We coordinate sample production, verify dimensions, wall thickness, and pressure ratings against your spec, then lock in the purchase order in writing. Most buyers receive a pass/fail sample report within two weeks of order confirmation.
Pre-shipment AQL inspection with dimensional and hydrostatic checks. We prepare CO, packing list, and test reports before the container is sealed. Sea freight to Middle East or Southeast Asia typically runs 2–4 weeks depending on port.
Six risks every HDPE pipe buyer faces in China
China pipe sourcing delivers real cost advantages — but it carries specific risks. Our process is designed to identify and eliminate each one before it becomes your problem.
PE80 resin sold as PE100
A factory quotes PE100 but uses lower-grade PE80 to cut costs. Dimensions look right; the pressure rating is not. We verify resin batch records and cross-check the supplier before any deposit is paid.
Wall thickness below specification
Pipe at the minimum tolerance edge passes visual inspection but fails pressure tests in the field. Our pre-shipment inspection samples wall thickness across multiple lengths with calibrated gauges — not just end-caps.
Fake or outdated certifications
ISO 4427 and PE100-RC certificates are frequently altered or expired. We verify validity directly with the issuing body and cross-reference the factory registration number against the actual pipe being produced.
Trading company posing as manufacturer
You pay factory-direct prices but the order is subcontracted to an unvetted mill. Our on-site audit verifies extrusion equipment, line capacity, and resin storage. A trading company has none of these.
Non-standard DN or SDR tolerances
Custom specs are frequently misunderstood after sampling — wall thickness, SDR ratios, and stripe colours are the most common drift points. We confirm specifications in writing and verify against approved samples at production start.
Export documentation errors
Wrong HS codes, missing mill certificates, or absent test reports can hold a shipment at customs for weeks. We prepare and review the full documentation package before the container is sealed.
Trading company vs generic agent vs specialist pipe agent
Not every China sourcing service works the same way. Understanding the difference helps you choose the right partner — and avoid paying for capabilities you don't need, or missing the ones you do.
The right choice depends on your order size and tolerance for risk. For standard commodity pipe with simple specs, a trading company may be sufficient. For pipe that needs to meet pressure ratings, pass third-party inspection, or match a written specification on arrival — a specialist agent is worth the commission.
How we keep defect rates low
Quality in pipe manufacturing is not an accident. Our system has six inspection layers, each designed to catch a specific failure mode before it reaches your site.
Incoming material inspection
Every factory is checked against approved resin grades before production. For critical orders we cross-check PE100 batch records with the resin supplier directly — not just the factory's own paperwork.
First-article inspection
The first production unit is built and compared against your spec before the full run starts. We confirm dimensions, wall thickness, and markings are correct before giving the go-ahead.
In-line process inspection
Dimensional checks at 10%, 50%, and 90% of production. Each sample is measured for OD, wall thickness at four points, and ovality against ISO 4427 tolerances. Failing batches are flagged before the run is completed.
Pre-shipment AQL sampling
Full AQL 2.5 Level II inspection on the finished lot — visual, dimensional, and hydrostatic checks. We accept, conditionally accept, or reject. You see the full report before the container is sealed.
Defect tracking and trend analysis
Every defect found is logged by factory, type, and production date. Over time this builds a pattern — identifying which factories have recurring issues so we can intervene before a problem repeats.
Certification and compliance review
We review the complete export documentation package: mill certificates with resin batch traceability, test reports, packing lists, CO, and ISO 4427 declarations. A missing document found at customs costs far more than 30 minutes of checking.
