What We Do

Pipe quality failures discovered after delivery are expensive — you’re dealing with import duties paid, shipping costs, and a project timeline in jeopardy. Pre-shipment inspection catches problems at the factory, before the container is loaded.

What We Check

Dimensional verification

• Outside diameter per ISO 3126 (multiple measurement points per pipe)
• Wall thickness — minimum wall thickness must meet SDR specification
• Pipe length verification
• Roundness / ovality at pipe ends

Visual inspection

• Surface finish: smooth bore, no blisters, pits, or extrusion marks exceeding tolerance
• Colour consistency (important for gas-grade yellow stripe pipes)
• End squareness for butt-fusion compatibility

Hydrostatic pressure test (sampling)

• Test pressure per ISO 1167 at specified temperature
• Pass/fail documentation with test parameters

Material and certification check

• Verify resin batch numbers against material test certificates
• Confirm ISO 4427 certification covers the DN and SDR being shipped
